Spiritual Centres

100rwsplitting lovesThe spiritual centres and the retreat houses in Africa are originally part of the Ignatian tradition of helping persons deepen their relationship with God, especially through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Over time, these same centres have become oasis for prayer and individual and communal growth in regards one’s faith and especially the rich spiritual traditions of the Catholic Church. Through retreats, workshops, and days of reflection opportunities are provided to deepen one’s life in Christ. The local Church is grateful and appreciates the work of the many persons involved in this ministry of prayer, reflection, healing and renewal. Each centre should be consulted as to the specifics on these spiritual opportunities as well as the fees involved for a day, a week or even the most noted Ignatian Spiritual Exercises – a 30-day retreat of intensive prayer and silence led by a trained spiritual director. You can also find out more about retreat centres by clicking here.
